Sticks and Pucks (Petros) stolen boxes

Until @NewbiesmokerMiami replies, I'll paint my picture here.

Petros starts selling boxes which look a little weird and he's also all over the place in terms of pricing, shipping and providing pictures and information in a reasonable amount of time. This is brought to my attention but after some verification on the boxes was done by various members, I just ignore it.

Then, I'm told the boxes were stolen from @NewbiesmokerMiami -- It turns out Petros and Newbie are somehow related through family ties and Petros works at the cigar lounge that Newbie owns. Sometimes he's paid in cash, other times he's paid in boxes.

Newbie says that more boxes are missing from the lounge than what Petros was paid with. Petros says Newbie is disgruntled and "someone else has been stealing boxes from the lounge", but not him, all the boxes he's been slanging were given to him as payment.

Until Newbie and Petros work things out, Petros will remain banned. It's just not a good look to have someone accusing someone here of being a thief and it's hard for me to side with Petros at all given all the events as they've unfolded. If Newbie clears Petros' name, he can then return and the ban will be lifted.

What I don't know or what I'm not clear on:
- Which of Petros' boxes were rightfully given to him as payment?
- Which of Petros' boxes were listed/advertised here but NOT given to him as payment?

Petros is a family friend of mine. Also I had given him permision to sell any of the boxes as and profit from it.
However when boxes are sold, and im not aware of it and boxes are taken without me knowing about it. Thats a no go

Just to give you an idea how anal I keep inventory. here is a picture of my spreadsheet.
So far i have been able to find some of and i mean minimal amount of boxes.
I know for a fact im missing books series, maduros, esplendidos, hoyo destinos 50 cabs of Lusi, La Escepcion Finos and so much more.

@NewbiesmokerMiami To be honest, both sides of this are weird. You gave me a phone number to text out of the blue and that number shows as linked to a software development company. Do you develop software in a two person company and also own a cigar shop? Are you in Miami now? Are you a newbie?

If you want people to come forward and self identify they have your stolen property, then come up with a list of boxes you believe you legitimately paid Petros with, then post a full pdf, not a sample, of the serials you want everyone to look for. Do you otherwise want us to come forward with every serial ever purchased from him, then you and he hash it out as to which were stolen and which were not, then post hoc tell us we have stolen items?

The number I gave is my personal number. I own a software company. I own a logistics company. I won the lounge are some of the things I’m part of. I put a random name here so I can find what he has sold. Had i put Cuban_cigar_collector it would have been a burn. You can ask anyone here that knows of me to give their opinions.

Well, what I can tell you is, from my perspective, it doesn't seem like your plan succeeded and it certainly rubbed me the wrong way. Hopefully you and Petros sort out your differences.
 
I called this dude out day one. Ya'll said John you're being a hater, doesn't look good on you because competing with him. Nonsense, this dude had a story that didn't fit. But as I told Byron, ya'll don't want to hear from me I'll stay quiet and you can figure it out down the road. John

My man, I don’t know who you are, nor does it matter. I’m not competing with him. I don’t need to compete. I’m just stating the facts and I have all the proofs

He had open access to grab any item that I had multiples of and advise.

Those Centrofinos you got. I bought them July of this year from France. He never told me he sold it. That was sitting in my cooler. The Monte 3 you got. Send the last 4 of the serial. I will send you the proof of the whole serial. Have him show proof he told me he sold those or asked for it. again my man. The list is endless. The image of the serials I sent are just a small list of thousands of boxes I have and kept track of.

You may think these things are proof. They are not proof. You and he both admit that you pay him in cigar boxes in lieu of money. Which, by the way, probably isn't legal because they are contraband. But, I digress. Whether you purchased them originally is not in dispute. You may have a list of serials from items you previously purchased. You're asking me to rely on your word of what you removed from your list that you gave him as payment or otherwise allowed him to sell, according to you, or didn't allow him to sell, amongst your "thousands of boxes." I run one business and I have roughly 200 boxes and it takes me 5 hours a quarter to go through them and update what is left and what is new. How often do you reconcile your collection that is 5 or 10 times larger than mine while running multiple businesses?

Are you the only two people who work at the shop? You indicate you own multiple businesses with physical locations - is there any surveillance at your shop? If there is more than one person working there, would any of them have any motivation to steal from your hoard of hundreds of thousands of dollars of what is technically contraband?

If you walked into a courtroom with this as alleged proof, you would not prevail. If your arrangement is that you allow him to sell items on your behalf and keep all or some of the proceeds, and sometimes he tells you before, and sometimes he tells you after, and if it happens to be every other Friday it might have been compensation in lieu of payment, that is for you and him to sort out, not a court or not a forum.

Far be it from me because I don't own multiple businesses, but it would be prudent to memorialize such arrangements in writing in case they go awry.

Edit: you said: "Have him show proof he told me he sold those or asked for it." You want me to ask him for proof that he asked you if he could sell them? No, I am not going to do that.

I was not referring to you. Petro tried to sell my cigars 30-50% above what I sell them for here at TF. No age on the cigars. Now I don't care if anyone re-sells my cigars, even at 200%. I asked him who'd he get the cigars from. He said that he didn't have to tell me, he got them from a baller and didn't want to reveal his name. BS#1. Previously he had been selling NW cigars with Cuban names, implying that they were Cuban. When called out, he said everyone was a stupid retard and that it was obvious a $15 cigar was not Cuban. But he still declined to say what their origin was. More BS. So I give my opinion and there's all this uproar that I'm a hater. Fine, I'll stay quiet. I spotted him a mile away day one, the rest of you are taking months to figure this dude out. John

I clearly remember that me telling him its upstairs. But that was a month or more ago. After that they been MIA and he has never mentioned he sold it so I can remove from my inventory.
